Effective interpretation of design concept is crucial in the development of any curtainwall project. Sharp employs state of the art drafting technologies including but not limited to 3D printing technology to prove out die design before going to press. SFCI use 3D printing technology to demonstrate the curtainwall system early in the design stage. This allows the Architect, owner, contractor, etc. to physically see their design and how it works. A 3D assembly conveys a much more informative impression than a 2D/3D drawing or renderings. A printed system allows technicians to snap together the integral parts of the system to verify the fittings of extrusions. The 3D printing technology also can be extremely useful to establish installation strategy and for early shape approval by the Architect of records.
